We deployed the system in Durgapur for a thorough experiment by 25 volunteers over 50 different trails using 13 different devices – Moto G2, Nexus 4, Nexus 7, Oneplus One, Yu Yureka, Redmi Mi4i and Asus Zenfone 5, Samsung Galaxy Tab 3, Samsung Galaxy Core Prime, Micromax Canvas 2, Gionee V4S and Karbonn Titanium S25, Xolo Q700i. The volunteers are from different age groups, and the devices we use cover a broad range of android versions and prices. Each volunteer was asked to cover two routes in the city.

User Feedback

All the 25 volunteers (age 18–40 years) who had taken part in 50 live experiments (trips) uploaded their feedback via the ap- plication interface immediately after the completion of each trip. However, it was difficult to arrange elderly (above 60 years) volunteers (who are one of the targeted beneficiaries) to take part in live experiments. So, we approached 15 elderly persons which included 6 females who provided their feedback via an interview. Prior to the interview we have shown a video demo of the application to explain the motivation and also performed a live demonstration of the application.
